As a woman entrepreneur, I feel very concerned with the development of the agriculture sector which has the full potential of creating massive employment in the Congo. We are faced with the challenge of building up a solid value chain process from production to distribution thus supporting thousands of farmers, especially women, who need more market and access to finance to sustain their production.

Reason why my company, Falka Business Services – FBS, decided to develop a series of supermarkets to facilitate the distribution of local products and thus supporting farmers and food processors who fight hard to develop the sector by having access to a regular market.

The Kuetu Market 1 is the first supermarket we have launched in Lubumbashi to support our vision of allowing consumers have access to quality local food products. We want to have at least 100 supermarkets by the next three years. I failed once to manage well such business, two years ago, being limited in management strategy; thus, I am glad to have taken part to many professional trainings that have enriched me with knowledge and skills to better manage my business now.

Am also grateful to different incubators that supported our progress: CINOLU, Luba Hub, etc. through the revup women initiative, the Academy of Women Entrepreneurs in the Congo, AWE RDC; etc. We are more motivated to contribute to SDGs 1, 2, 5, 8 & 10: No poverty, Zero Hunger, Gender Equality, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Reduced Inequalities.
